Hello, and Welcome, Let me tell you a little about myself. MY family roots are from Montrose, Angus, Scotland, my Grandfather Murrays' home. He came to the U.S. 2nd June, 1911. He met my Grandmother, Euphamia Sterling here in Homestead Pa. They met at an ice cream social at the Presbyterian Church there. They were married 28th March,1914, then moved to Niles, Ohio and began a family, of 5 girls and 1 boy. My mother was the third child. My Grandfather was in the Murray Atholl Infantry when he was a young man. His brother Robert played the Great Highland Bagpipes, so I must come by it honestly. I began my studies of the pipes just 4 yrs ago. Now I am able to play with a band in Akron, Ohio, Crag Dhe Cead. Soon I will share music and pictures that may be of interest. Visit us often and see how I'm doing in the development of this page.
